  • The White House Gazette reported when President Bush hosted the annual Hanukkah party at the White House, a rabbi delivered the opening prayer. An embarrassing moment occurred when Bush referred to the rabbi as the, "Jewish Santa".

  • In a similar awkward incident, during the annual White House Hanukkah party, Bush made a wish and blew out all eight candles.

  • On Tuesday, the Iraqi Journal stated, "the 'shoe throwing guy' has asked for a pardon from the Iraqi government". He claims, "he doesn't want to fight a court case, so he's throwing in the towel".

  • Oprah Winfrey's production company, Harpo, has signed a deal to create original programs for HBO. They already have their first project underway and it will be called The "Opranos".

  • The New Jersey Globe reported that the state Senate is working on a bill to legalize medical marijuana. They say it's the one thing that can really ease the pain of having to live in New Jersey.

  • Recently, the country experienced some very rough weather. Ice storms in the Northeast, cold snap in the Midwest. In fact, it was so cold in Chicago, Gov. Blagojevich actually had his hand in his own pockets.
