How Far Would You Go To Keep Your Family Together? Marlin Keesler traveled over 100,000 miles to see all 50 states. He covered 26.2 miles on his feet, in each state and DC. That's 51 marathons! He brought his family along for the experience. How far Marlin went by car, plane, or his feet is only metaphorical compared to why this journey was essential in keeping the Keesler family connected. Our guest today is Gil Bridges, an original member of Rare Earth who has performed in over 3,000 concerts, will chat about their 1961 beginning of the group and association with Motown. Rare Earth has always been the "People's Band" and the thirst for performing for a live audience has brought them back to touring the country and performing WITH the audience, not at them. Now, in 2008, Gil announces the release of their brand new CD "A Brand New World".
