On June 2, 2001 The 1st EZHelp, You & More Radio Show was broadcasted LIVE at Lycos
Radio. Our last show on Lycos was September 30, 2001 when they announced they were closing
shop. At this time, EY&M was ranked as the NUMBER ONE show. On October 21, 2001, after
doing a few shows at Fancast, we found a new home at Alternacast Internet Talk Radio.
During this time, we've featured shows from Chicago, Las Vegas and Hawaii. In April of
2003, as we approached of our 100th consecutive weekend show, Alternacast announced it would
change its business focus and no longer host talk radio. A new home was discovered and on
June 1, 2003 with our 1st broadcast from PalTalk. We utilized this venue
until greater bandwidth and better audio quality was required. On
January 22, 2006 we broadcasted our first show from a Ventrilo server
adding our brand new Chat
Room to the system.
Production
MONDAY: Preparation for Sunday's upcoming show starts with reviewing emails and preparing the web site files with updated information for Podcasts and the Stars of the Green Room pages. Wendy finalizes the guest interview script and prepares the data to update our blog. TUESDAY: The "theme" for Name Dat Song Shuffle is created and song files are prepared. WEDNESDAY: Topics for
"Web Links", "Bozo Awards" and "Audio Grab Bag" are researched. THURSDAY: The Show's Newsletter is prepared and emailed to
recipients. FRIDAY: The entire show is reviewed, commercials are incorporated into the script and the intro is recorded. SATURDAY: The Stars of the Green Room topics are compiled and their web pages prepared. SUNDAY: All the material is put into order, reviewed and approximately one hour before the show a sound check is performed. Then, at 11:00 a.m. EST it's SHOW TIME!!!!!!
